As soon as you install and activate the plugin, you can add a logo, images, editable text boxes, social icons, clickable URL buttons, etc.<\/p>\n
You can edit the content by dragging the elements from the left into the blank area of the document. Once you\u2019re done, you can send a test email to make sure everything is going according to plan.<\/p>\n
MailPoet<\/h4>\n
MailPoet is yet another great tool you can use to customize a WooCommerce email. Aside from including options like drag and drop, this plugin can also be used as a marketing tool.<\/p>\n
If you want to customize your email template, start by installing the extension in WooCommerce. Then go to Settings \u2192 WooCommerce and select MailPoet. The next thing you should do is open Template Editor and use the drag-and-drop editor to make the changes.<\/p>\n

3. Customizing WooCommerce emails by modifying the code<\/h3>\n
Finally, you can customize a WooCommerce email by accessing its code and altering it. This method is the most complicated one because it requires you to have at least some knowledge of coding languages, especially PHP.<\/p>\n
The first thing you should know is that each transactional email is made up of multiple templates you can edit separately.<\/p>\n
For instance, there are PHP files named email-header.php or email-footer.php. So, if you wanted to make edits to the header or footer, you\u2019d edit these two files. You can also make edits to a specific template, like the customer-completed-order.php.<\/p>\n
To start editing, you need to create a child theme. To do that, go to the wp-content\/plugins\/woocommerce\/templates\/emails and download the PHP file you want to edit. For example, if you wanted to make changes to the font color, you\u2019d download email-styles.php. You then need to upload the file to your theme folder. If our child theme was named \u201cBestCommander\u201d, for instance, you\u2019d upload it to bestcommander\/woocommerce\/emails\/email-styles.php.<\/p>\n
If you\u2019re unsure of the location of these files, you can easily check that by entering the email settings and selecting the template you want to change. Once you scroll down, you\u2019ll see a section called \u201cHTML Template\u201d with the instruction.<\/p>\n
Also, in some cases, you\u2019ll notice some of the folders are missing, such as an \u201cemail\u201d folder. If that happens, all you need to do is create the folder.<\/p>\n
When you\u2019re done with that, you can open the file in the child theme and edit it. You mustn\u2019t make any changes to the parent theme because you risk losing them each time WooCommerce makes updates.<\/p>\n
Once again, you\u2019ll need at least some knowledge of coding to alter the file and make changes to the theme. If you\u2019re not feeling confident about your coding skills, it\u2019s best to let a WordPress administrator do this for you.<\/p>\n
