If you don\u2019t see one, jsut create a file using this name<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Add the following code to this file<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you\u2019ve got PHP 5.4: <strong>zend_extension=\/usr\/local\/altphp54\/lib\/php\/extensions\/no-debug-non-zts-20100525\/ioncube_loader_lin_5.4.so<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you\u2019ve got PHP 5.3: <strong>zend_extension=\/usr\/local\/altphp\/lib\/php\/extensions\/no-debug-non-zts-20090626\/ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you\u2019ve got a <strong>VPS Hosting<\/strong>, you can get this installed easily using our article <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/195C30_CgYBFxJ1uH4hKBdirlxonmgZ5Yty4t7eZ3hHc\/edit#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Step 3: Downloading WHMCS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Now that you have the license key, you\u2019ll need to download the latest stable copy of WHMCS from their official website.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Just visit <a href=\"http:\/\/download.whmcs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/download.whmcs.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Click on &#8220;Download&#8221; under the Full Release heading &#8211; this will be the latest release version<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Step 4: Installing WHMCS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Unzip the contents of the zip file that you\u2019ve just downloaded to a folder on your computer<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Rename the file configuration.php.new to configuration.php<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Upload the entire whmcs folder to your website<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Next you can rename the folder to whatever you like whmcs, billing, clients, etc. This would be used in the URL whenever you\u2019d like to access your WHMCS. For example &#8211; http:\/\/www.<em>yourdomain<\/em>.com\/whmcs or http:\/\/www.<em>yourdomain.com<\/em>\/billing, etc<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Now visit the installation script using the directory \/install\/install.<br class=\"kix-line-break\" \/>For example, if you\u2019ve named the directory as whmcs, the URL would be: http:\/\/www.<em>yourdomain.com<\/em>\/whmcs\/install\/install.php<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This will run the installer process like an easy wizard. Follow the instructions on screen to install which will involve setting file permissions as listed below, entering your license key and setting up your primary admin account<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">When complete, delete the install folder from your web server and CHMOD the configuration.php file back to 644.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Required file &amp; folders permissions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\/configuration.php CHMOD 400 &#8211; Readable<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\/attachments CHMOD 777 &#8211; Writeable<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\/downloads CHMOD 777 &#8211; Writeable<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\/templates_c CHMOD 777 &#8211; Writeable<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><em>The above applies unless your php is suPHP or PHPSuExec.
